Mousse With The Most

Impress your guests at any dinner party with this appetising and aesthetically pleasing dessert! The best part is that you simply have to mix up one batch of only three ingredients! Then simply portion it off into cute cups and top with a flourish of whipped cream (maybe even a cherry on top, too, if you're feeling fancy!) Got five minutes to spare? Ready, set, go!

Method

  1. Grab out a mixer and whip 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream for about a minute (emphasis on buying the heaviest cream you can get your hands on - it makes all the difference).
  2. Add in 1/2 cup icing sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder, then continue to whip until the mixture thickens up and you can see stiff peaks.
  3. Create single serves by piping the mixture into small cups and decorating as you please.
  4. Eat right away or store in the fridge for serving later!

Great No Bake Brownies

Everybody loves brownies... they're sweet, gooey and absolutely decadent. These no-bake brownies taste just as great as traditional ones but are easier to make because there's no oven required - plus, they're a great vegan chocolate recipe. Our time hack is to simply create your batter before dinner, then leave them in the fridge, and they'll be ready for an evening snack.

Method

  1. In a food processor, combine 2 1/2 cups of pitted dates, 1 1/2 cups of walnuts, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 6 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tsp water and a pinch of salt. Whizz up until there aren't any lumps, then transfer to a lined baking pan (it will be very dense, so press the mixture down firmly).
  2. Grab a mixing bowl and stir up a frosting out of 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 maple syrup, 2 tbsp melted coconut oil and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
  3. Spread the frosting in a layer over the brownie mixture and leave the pan in the fridge for two hours, then enjoy.

Air Fryer Cookies In A Flash

Air Fryer Cookies

There's nothing better than the aroma of freshly baked cookies wafting from the kitchen! Have your home smelling like a bakery with these no-fuss air fryer choc chip cookies. Using an air fryer makes the cooking process super speedy and allows you to spend more time munching down when you would normally still be waiting for the oven to preheat.

Method

  1. Stir up 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter with 3/4 cup sugar
  2. Crack in an egg and add 1 tsp vanilla, then mix well.
  3. Pop in a pinch of salt, and 1 1/2 cups of self-raising flour and mix, then pour in 2 cups of choc chips and combine.
  4. Roll the mixture into balls and flatten on a piece of baking paper inside your air fryer.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius, then let the cookies rest for a few minutes before eating!

Fun And Fudgy Oreo Slice

  2. Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk and 3 cups of white chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for a minute, then mix.
  3. If there are still unmelted pieces of chocolate, microwave for 10 seconds at a time until the mixture is smooth.
