What Types of Baking Trays & Oven Trays Can I Find?

Not sure what type of baking tray to use for your next masterpiece? Here's a quick overview of the many different options at Harris Scarfe. Non-stick baking trays are our most popular style, but we also sell enamel baking dishes. These are an excellent choice for not just baking and roasting but also for serving and storing your culinary creations.

Our baking tray range includes all the must-have baking basics: muffin pans, cake pans, cookie sheets, oven trays, cupcake trays, and of course, springform cake tins. If you're looking for something a bit more specialised, then check out our pie dishes, tart and friand pans, loaf pans, baking sets or cookie trays. And while you're at it, don't forget essential baking equipment like kitchen scales, cooling racks, mixing bowls and measuring cups, too.

How to Properly Care for Your Baking Trays

Decent pots, sheet pans, loaf pans and baking trays should last for at least ten years - but only if you look after them properly. Here are our top three tips when it comes to caring for your bakeware at home:

Always hand wash your baking trays

Dishwashing powder and tablets can be very caustic, and the temperature inside a dishwasher can get up to 70C. That means it's easy for your bakeware to get damaged, especially if they're non-stick. To preserve them, hand wash your baking trays and equipment whenever possible.

Only use non-scratch cooking utensils

Non-stick baking trays are also particularly easy to damage with metal utensils. Help your cake pan last longer by only using a plastic baking knife or silicone baking tools when removing food from the baking tray. Our baking utensils and gadgets range also has everything you need to ensure no nasty scratches occur.

Steer clear of spray oils

Avoid using aerosol spray oils when you're baking, especially on non-stick baking trays. The thin oil film can bake onto your trays and will build up over time, becoming really difficult to remove. Instead, use cooking oils such as olive oil, canola oil or butter and margarine.
