What is Harris Scarfe's return policy?

We accept Change of Mind returns up to 28 days after purchase provided that:

  • Items are in their original packaging
  • Items are in a condition suitable for resale
  • You have your tax invoice as Proof of Purchase
  • Items that are not subject to the exclusions listed below

Our Change of Mind Policy is in addition to any rights you may have under a manufacturer's warranty or statute and does not apply to lay-bys, customer orders, and items in the below exclusions list.

Please check the suitability of your product for a Change of Mind Return, before sending.

Excluded from a change of mind return are the following products:

  • Underwear and Bras 
  • Swimwear
  • Hosiery
  • Jewellery
  • Bedding and Bedding Accessories (for example, quilts, pillows, mattress protection items such as mattress protectors, mattress underlays and mattress toppers)

Any items that cannot be refunded due to hygiene reasons will be disposed of.

Any items that are returned and cannot be refunded under the "Change of Mind" policy, as per above will not be refunded and may be returned to the Customer at their own cost.

We will refund using your original payment method if it meets the above criteria.

Returns can be completed in-store with the same policy criteria listed above.

Returns by Post

Eligible online change of mind returns can be returned via Australia Post. Please follow the instructions through our Return Portal here.

From 22 January 2024, to create the label, you will lodge your details with Australia Post and pay the $13.10 delivery fee via the Australia Post portal.

For Other Return Reasons or not sure if your return is eligible, please contact our Customer Care Team on 1300 304 505 to obtain an RMA.

How do I return an item purchased online?

You are welcome to return the item/s to one of our stores with your tax invoice or receipt, at no charge. Please let the team at the service counter in-store know what has happened and they will assist you from there in line with our returns policy. Refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy.

Change of Mind Returns

Check the Change of Mind Returns Policy that your product(s) meets the criteria for a change of mind return. If it does then you can pack and post the item with a copy of your tax invoice and send your item/s via the post.

From 22 January 2024, to create the label, you will lodge your details with Australia Post and pay the $13.10 delivery fee via the Australia Post portal.

  1. Go to https://return.auspost.com.au/HARRIS_SCARFE to obtain and print your reply-paid label. If you cannot print at home, you can visit a participating post office with your tax invoice & ID and have it printed in-store. See the Australia Post Post Office locator to find your nearest outlet offering Print at Post.
  2. Post your item to us. You can drop your parcel at your nearest street box or Post Office. Please remember to include a copy of your tax invoice or bank statement with your parcel return.
  3. Please allow time for your parcel to reach us and for your refund or replacement to be processed. Refunds may take up to 4 weeks to process.
  4. You can track your parcel via Australia Post and they will assist with delivery information.

How do I return an item purchased in store?

Return or exchange your purchase at your nearest Harris Scarfe store. Please refer to our return policy for full terms and conditions.

Remember also, when returning items in accordance with this policy you don’t need to return to the store of purchase, you can attend any Harris Scarfe store.

If your item is faulty, please contact us so we can assess the extent of the fault and provide instructions on what to do with the item.
