Safety Information
Reduced LCD brightness = low battery. We recommend changing the battery after 1 to 2 years to prevent batteries corroding in the product. Always remove flat batteries immediately. Always wear a heat resistant glove when handling the thermometer probe. Warning: Hot surface! Do not immerse the thermometer body in liquid, or splash any liquid onto this part. The thermometer is not suitable for use in a microwave oven. Do not place a thermometer inside oven or grill.

Washing Instructions
We recommend that the thermometer probe is sterilised before each use e.g. insert the stem only in boiling water for a few minutes. Clean the thermometer body with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the thermometer in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly flavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids such as citrus juices.

Occasionally, customer's orders may need to be sourced and supplied by multiple Harris Scarfe locations. If this is the case, then your order will arrive at its destination in more than one consignment and possibly with more than one courier company. The multiple shipping charges are not passed onto the customer.

The shipping charge paid at the checkout page of the order will not be exceeded even if multiple deliveries are required.

Returns Information

Eligible Change of Mind Returns may be returned in store for free, or with Australia Post via Return Portal here for a fee of $13.10.

If you order an item online and it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description, you can return it to us by taking the item to your nearest Harris Scarfe store. If you are unable to get to a store, please call customer care on 1300 304 505.
