Washing Instructions
Clean the mill body with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse in water or use chemical / abrasive cleaning agents. Thoroughly dry the mill after cleaning. Not suitable for dishwashers.

To insert the batteries: To remove the upper cap, turn the upper cap anti-clockwise and then lift upwards. Lift off the battery retaining ring. Insert batteries observing the polarity signs (+ and -). Replace the battery retaining ring and upper cap.
To fill: To remove the upper cap, turn the upper cap anti-clockwise and then lift upwards. Remove the motor unit from the spice chamber by pulling upwards. Pour your choice of dry coarse sea salt crystals (not flakes or rock salt) or standard sized dried peppercorns into the spice chamber through the circular opening at the top. Reassemble the mill ensuring the locating pins on the bottom of the motor unit align with the holes in the top of the spice chamber.
To use the mill: Remove the bottom cap. Press the button at the top of the mill. Ground seasoning will come out and the bulb will illuminate. When finished replace the bottom cap to preserve spice and reduce spills.
To adjust for fine or coarse grinding: Turn the mill upside-down and remove the bottom cap. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted by either loosening or tightening the grind adjust knob. Turn anticlockwise for coarse and clockwise for fine grind.

Occasionally, customer's orders may need to be sourced and supplied by multiple Harris Scarfe locations. If this is the case, then your order will arrive at its destination in more than one consignment and possibly with more than one courier company. The multiple shipping charges are not passed onto the customer.

The shipping charge paid at the checkout page of the order will not be exceeded even if multiple deliveries are required.

Returns Information

Eligible Change of Mind Returns may be returned in store for free, or with Australia Post via Return Portal here for a fee of $13.10.

If you order an item online and it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description, you can return it to us by taking the item to your nearest Harris Scarfe store. If you are unable to get to a store, please call customer care on 1300 304 505.
