Caring for your flannel

Caring for your flannel

Longevity

We recommend a gentle machine wash in cold water. Try to avoid fabric softeners, which can leave perfumes and other residues on the fabric.

Colours

Remove sheets from the washing machine promptly. This will help avoid any colour bleeding by leaving sheets wet. Always wash darker colours separately.

Drying

It’s best to line dry your sheets. When doing this give the sheets a gentle flick to remove any excess fibres before hanging on the line. However, a cool tumble dry cycle on your dryer is also acceptable. Avoid leaving sheets in dryer once complete. Letting the fibres cool at room temperature, rather than bake in a hot dryer, will reduce pilling considerably.

NOTE :

Flannel sheets will most always shrink when washed for the first time. Therefore if sheets appear large when first removed from packaging, this is to allow for shrinkage.
