4/1/12- hs home Tuggerah & Macarthur Competition

Our HS Home Tuggerah & Macarthur Square Grand Openings were a success! Thank-you to everyone who came along on the opening days and has continued to shop with us since then.

We are looking forward to creating relationships with the community in the Tuggerah and Campbelltown areas.

16/11/11- Love Spring Racing Competition

Spring Carnival has come to a close for another year and along with it our Love Spring Racing competition. Entrants were asked to finish the sentence 'Spring Racing is...' It was an extremely hard decision trying to pick a winner from the hundreds of entries we received but we finally chose our winner.

18/10/11- HARRIS SCARFE ANNOUCES OPENING of hs HOME store at Springvale Homemaker Centre 9am 24th Oct 2011

Harris Scarfe are excited to announce the opening of its third hs home store at the Springvale Homemaker Centre- Cnr Princes Hwy & Westall Rds.

The store will stock homewares & manchester, from famous Australian brands such as Sunbeam, Dyson, Circulon, Stanley Rogers, Sheridan, and Esprit.

To mark the opening of the new store, hs home invite you to celebrate with a host of promotions, in-store giveaways, special offers and events.  You will benefit with the huge array of celebratory offers and specials.

06/06/11 - HARRIS SCARFE ANNOUNCES OPENING OF NEW QUEENSLAND STORE

Harris Scarfe is excited to announce the opening of its newest store in Morayfield, Queensland on Thursday 14 July. 

The new Harris Scarfe Morayfield store boasts in excess of 2500sq metres of retail space, staffed by 44 new team members from the local community and led by Store Manager, Justin Edwards. You can find the location of the store and contact details here.

06/06/11 - HARRIS SCARFE ANNOUNCES OPENING OF NEW VIC STORE

Harris Scarfe is excited to announce the opening of its new store in Ballart VIC, on Thursday 16th June.

The new Harris Scarfe Ballarat store will boast 2000sq metres of retail space. The store will stock homewares, manchester and fashion from Australian brands Circulon, Sheridan, Esprit, Berlei, Bonds, Diana Ferarri and more.

To mark the opening of the new store Harris Scarfe will invite Ballarat to celebrate with a host of promotions, in-store giveaways, special offers and events.

25/05/11 - FuzzYard Premium Pet Products Prize Pack

To celebrate the launch of our new pets range, Harris Scarfe in conjunction with FuzzYard Premium Pets Products are giving away a pets prize pack.

We asked you to submit the cutest photo of your pet and the results are in.

With so many submissions of your beloved dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other miscellaneous pets, it was a really hard task to choose the cutest of them all.

But choose we did and the winner is the submission by Kylee of Warragul who stole our hearts with a photo of her puppy swimming in a bed of grass!

11/04/11 - HILLIER's 6KG EASTER EGG PROMO

To celebrate Easter & our huge range of chocolate Easter eggs in store, Harris Scarfe and Hillier's gave away a Hillier's 6kg Easter Egg valued at $350. Customers were asked to sign up to our hs friends newsletter and tell us what their ultimate chocolate fantasy is.

We had a huge response from you guys with some very interesting and creative entries. Reccurring themes include chocolate baths, pools and spas, affairs involving Willy Wonka, limitless & guilt free indulgence, real world objects in chocolate form, being trapped with chocolate, being trapped inside chocolate, and some so saucy we can’t mention.

It was a very hard task to pick a winner from among the may great responses, but in the end we had to pick one and the winner is Amanda from Victoria who impressed the judges with her clever rhyming poem.

Amanda’s ultimate chocolate fantasy is a:

“World where chocolate looses weight,
more you eat, more you look great,
no breakouts, just chocolate smooth skin,
ahhh I'd have a chesire cat grin!”

17/03/11 - HARRIS SCARFE ANNOUNCES OPENING OF NEW ACT STORE

Harris Scarfe is excited to announce the opening of its 44th store in Belconnen ACT, on Thursday 31 March 2011, adjacent to the new retail precinct in the Westfield Belconnen Shopping Centre in North Canberra.

The new Harris Scarfe Belconnen store will boast 2000sq metres of retail space making it the largest Harris Scarfe store in the ACT. The store will stock homewares, manchester and fashion from Australian brands Circulon, Sheridan, Esprit, Berlei, Bonds, Diana Ferarri and more.

To mark the opening of the new store Harris Scarfe will invite Canberra to celebrate with a host of promotions, in store entertainment, special offers and events including in store cooking demonstrations by celebrated Australian chef Peter Russell Clarke.

14/02/11 - HARRIS SCARFE ADELAIDE CITY GETS SET FOR REDEVELOPMENT

Harris Scarfe is excited to announce the next evolution of its iconic Adelaide City store in a planned, total re-development of the Rundle Mall site, due to commence in April 2011.

“While the current site has been home to Harris Scarfe’s flagship store for over 90 years, we are excited to be able to bring to Adelaide what will be the most modern and state of the art retail department store in Australia ”, says Harris Scarfe Managing Director, Joe Barberis.

“Over the coming months Harris Scarfe will clear its Adelaide City store of all stock in preparation for the redevelopment and invite South Australians to celebrate with a host of promotions, events, VIP offers and sales on a scale never before seen in Adelaide!”

To ensure customers continue to enjoy Harris Scarfe’s great range of products, brands and savings while the redevelopment project is underway, Harris Scarfe Adelaide City will relocate to a new, temporary store in Rundle Mall Plaza from Wednesday 30th March 2011, with the existing site at 81 Rundle Mall to cease trading on Sunday 27th March.

Harris Scarfe has been operating in Adelaide for over 160 years and is integral to South Australia’s retail environment.
